Me too, when I realised we had done it I cried like a baby in my living room. I was still
bubbling when they got the trophy. :greengrin

3 times for me. Stokes 2nd goal, when I really thought we had a chance. Gray's goal and then Sunshine on Leith at the end. Not afraid to admit it. Was still crying when on the phone to my brother right after final whistle. Unbelievable. Hope everyone in Edinburgh enjoys tonight, tomorrow, stays safe and behaves.

Couldn't join in with the singing at the end. Just tears and more tears all shed unashamedly.

I'm at a wedding, had to walk away in floods of tears when I found out. The wife was telling me to pull it together.

I cried at Sunshine on Leith. The culmination of all the heart break watching Hibs at Hampden and all the bad luck, especially this season summed up in the words of Charlie, Craig and a cast of thousands. Blub.

The sun is splitting the sky here in NZ and there is not one cloud to be seen - oh no that's me off again and it will not take much for the rest if the day to get me going - better not watch that BBC programme "LongLost Family" or I will be burbling all day !!

Think this is the first time I have had real tears of joy. Like totally gushing and bawlin my eyes out whilst smiling and laughing. Amazing feeling. Hasn't sunk in yet.

Genuine tears of joy

I will be 84 in a couple of weeks so what a birthday present !
Went to my first match at ER , aged 8, in December 1940 with my uncle who had been a goalkeeper with Hibs in the '20's.
Attended 5 losing SC finals and was beginning to think I would never see the cup at ER
T hanks to everyone at ER/EM's who has made a dream come true !!
I had an unashamed greet at full time :greengrin

SUNSHINE ON LEITH - YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I had to wait 48 years but it's for fans like yourself, my Dad and the countless Hibby's who didn't live to see this day that I'm really thinking about this evening.

Enjoy your evening sir.
