Hibs featured on the BBC 1pm news in England. Usual story about not having won it since the Boer War and losing the last 10 finals but interesting footage of Edinburgh in the 1900s. This was followed by commentary about us being a progressive club and pictures of the current stadium and training ground - showing Liam doing some pullups. Stubbs and a couple of fans were interviewed with all of them making positive predictions about the outcome.

Not surprising as the SC is a big thing to win, even the English take note. The 114 year slant adds to the story as most English punters know who Hibs are and that we are one of the bigger clubs. It will surprise folk to know we haven't won it in so long and probably get us a few well wishers to boot, everyone likes fairytale endings after all.

This sort of coverage is excellent for the club.
