Released by Derby. Worth a pop?

I reckon so. Would score goals for us, anyway.

Doubt he'd want to go from the English championship to the Scottish Championship, especially when there's no Hearts or Rangers.

Money talks and he wants back up the road.

My mate was delivering fish to East Mains this morning and he said he saw Sammon there

Aberdeen already mentioned but they've already signed Miles Storey and Jayden Stockley to replace Church and Goodwillie. Would be surprised if they added Sammon to them and Rooney.

I would 100% take him at ER. Exactly the type of striker needed as a foil to Keatings/Cummings. Whether he'd come is a different matter

Could have been a sea trout as to the untrained eye they are easily confused.

I'll wait until we hear what the fishman thinks[emoji6]

Knows where the net is.

Does he?

According to his Wiki page he's played 162 games since leaving Killie and scored 18 goals.

It's a no thanks from me.

He is certainly the type of striker that we could do with, badly, however, I am sure he will have a few options and this league might not appeal to him.

He's not that good IMO. Aberdeen are more than welcome to him!

He wasn't much of a goal scorer, Mixu turned him into one with us, wasn't much of a goal scorer after he left...

But not John West. He didn't want Sammon. Rejected him by all accounts.

Not sure if it is still the case but whenever I used to see him he was getting used for his workrate (like he was for the RoI international team or his few caps).....letting him run himself in to the ground chasing for 60-70 mins and then sub him off.
