Should we win I hear it's West Parliament Square to Leith Links down Leith Walk. Not going back to the stadium at all...

Colleague claimed last night he'd heard that there will be no parade announcement prior to the game from Hibs so as not to tempt fate. If we win it's seemingly possible the parade will be on Monday, which is apparently a holiday.

Monday is Victoria Day.

I'd taken it off work anyway, just in case of hangover, but a parade would be even better than lounging about eating junk food watching Still Game on Netflix.

"no parking on sunday 22nd may between 9am and 6pm to accomodate special event" on lampposts and railings down bridges, Leith street and leith walk .... take from that what you will

I think there was another thread indicating the route wasnt down Leith Walk but Regent Road/Easter Rd/Lochend Road/ Stadium.

Would be awful if the Monday, will be the Sunday IMO.

It's the route I mentioned above on the Sunday, not the Monday. Happy to remove this to avoid jinx but wanted to share what I'd heard.

Dont worry.

We're gonna slap them this time.

We're gonna win the Scottish Cup.

We're gonna get into Europe.

And, we're gonna get promoted next year.

This, I had a premonition of seven weeks ago, before we even started in the play-offs which were doomed to failure after February/March horrendous run.

KEEP THE FAITH.

I move to the Hebrides to work for the summer on Wednesday so I'm just praying that should we win, the parade is either the Sunday or Monday. Guaranteed it'll end up being the following weekend.

I think I can safely say that a thread on here about parades is unlikely to have any impact on the outcome of the game tomorrow. What would it have been before the internet was invented if there were any smoke signals mentioning parades prior to the game we were sure to lose. :greengrin

I can just imagine Stubbs now

'Well lads I was going to say something motivating to you, tell you all to believe in yourselves, play the game and don't leave anything out there, no regrets. However I'm hearing someone has posted a parade route on hibs.net so we're ****ed.'

Please don't talk about parades. Anytime we talk about winning these matches. It blows up in our faces.

Let's just not tempt fate. Let the players do the talking on the pitch.

You'll be fine, it will be Monday at latest but more likely Sunday as the players will finish up for there summer holidays after this weekend.

I'd imagine the Sponsors event has been moved to sunday lunchtime so the players can break up on monday, so would expect them to go from the sponsors event up to the chambers for the parade (if it happens - which i still don't think it will)

Yep, hence the reason it would be ending at Leith Links

I would have thought it would be a after to have something at ground after as without organising anything I reckon folk will just turn up outside
