Big Ben playing in goal for Bradford in League 1 playoffs ( he has best shut out record in England this season) , also Philippe Morais playing for Bradford.

:agree: switched off cos he didn't like the coach.

Another one remembered for being better than he actually was.

Aye the fat scout who doubled up as Keeper coach, another of Butcher's great ideas.

Marsella was his name I think.

He was a lot better than the current keepers at Hibs.

Just showed how good he is.

Best goalkeeper since Daniel Andersson, no question. He wasn't crap in the season we went down, he just went from being superb to average whereas most of the other players went from being average to absolutely catastrophic.

So what you saying Williams is not better than the current keepers at Hibs?

Should Ben have done better for the goal.

Maybe he's just remembered for being vastly superior to what we currently have?

Should Ben have done better for the goal.

Think he was caught out by how quick Gregory got the shot away.

Gregory is a good player, made Halifax some decent cash.

Surely he can't be,despite my reservations people were telling me that Logan was a great keeper only weeks ago!

The point I'm making is people were slagging off Williams before he left, the same as many other players slagged off whilst at Hibs.Fast forward a season or two and those same players are always remembered fondly as better than we have. For the record Williams is a decent keeper.

Very good keeper, wish we had kept him

I honestly don't see it in Williams.

He was decent in spells but the last season he was as terrible as the rest!

Made some howlers and vary rarely came off his line. When he did he flapped!

Rather we looked elsewhere if I'm honest.

He went from a full time GK coach to a part time one as he was also the "super" scout. Its madness to not have a full time coach for such a vital position. Big ben was the best keeper ive seen at hibs since andersson and should never have been allowed to leave.

He could save a pen but cost us a few goals including ball watching in cup final but wouldn't have him back. He's had his time for me anyway!

I dont like the "switched off because of the coach" line. They should have played for the supporters then.

Absolutely. I wasn't praising him for it - it's unprofessional.

Great shot stopper, take him back in a second. Won us games by himself first year, second year until butcher came in he was superb

Did start off very impressively in his first season but started to show alot of flaws in his game as time went on.

Think he's certainly better than our current options but unless he's improved on a cross ball challenge in particular, I would be wanting someone else as first choice next season. Check out our 2-1 victory Ross Caldwell at Tynie and Ben's attempts just before and at their goal - there would be a 10 page protest thread on here if that was Oxley.

Yes, a Daniel Andersson standard would be very welcome.

You can't be that old then, Goram or Leighton were better for me.
