I wonder if he would be interested in the managers job should Stubbs leave.

I have a feeling him and big Taff will follow Stubbs though.

Thoughts?

I'd be asking him some very blunt questions about what he would do differently to Stubbs before considering him.

I fail to see what would be gained by Doolan staying if Stubbs goes. Surely as assistant he is as culpable as the rest for our predicament.

Correct. He seems to be part of the problem, not the solution.

Would like to see him stay with the club in some capacity.

If Stubbs go they all go - failure is collective.

He's not even the assistant coach, he's the assistant assistant coach. There's, rightly, hee-haw chance of him being the next coach.

****ing hell, celebrate a bit and be a good guy in the pub seems to enough for some folk to consider you a worthy candidate for Hibs manager. There's about 7000 of us qualified in that case.

Don't worry, I'll buy you a pint and tell you that you're not that bad. Just the kind of guy I am.

I doubt it. There's a few on here that would have me leaping out of plate glass windows if I was stuck in a boozer with them.

You can pretend all you like but I think you know that you'd love my witty banter if we ever met in the pub.
