Prepared to get shot down and called a happy clapper / yam

across the 2 play off games against falkirk they had 90 minutes with a man more than they should have had

30 mins in the 1st game from the non penalty handball / kick out

60 mins tonight from the lack of red card from the Keatings foul.

We may have lacked the finishing and ability to see it over the line but these were serious infractions that will have effected the outcome.

Weak refereeing and a blind eye turned to foul tactics has cost us again this season

If we took more of our chances and defended better, none of that would matter.

Don't forget our disadvantage. The disadvantage of being Hibs.

Or if punching a player in the face was a red card.

Etc..

Etc..

Ridiculous

Playing against a team who can't finish numerous chances and defending like kids also an advantage for Falkirk

we should have scored 3 or 4 in the second half alone, ourselves to blame.

As said we created enough chances over the two games to win this comfy
Even put the chances away at ER we would still be in it
Basically they had 5 shots on target and scored with them
Only got ourselves to blame

3 games in a row against Falkirk (including one where they were down to ten men!) and we've fallen apart from a winning position each times. That's not refs, hoof ball, luck etc - they know how to play us. They know we are mentally weak and can't close of games and that if they keep going, we'll always give up easy chances.

Great input to the conversation - well done

So those decisions had no effect whatsoever in your mind?

I see where you are coming from but I think a bigger disadvantage recently has been the last fifteen minutes when it's close. Most of the teams we play simply pile into our18 yard box and we struggle to get it clear.

Unlucky over the two legs and Falkirk have had more than luck on red card offences.

If the refs had done their jobs, we maybe would have had more chances and one of them would have went in.

One day, we might, just might get a decision to go our way.

I agree the refs have been poor but we had ample opportunity to bury this tie and didn't take them, just like we haven't scored enough for the last 2 season. We shouldn't even have to be here talking about the ref, FFS how do you let the ball travel that far in the box in the last minute from a throw in!!??
