The cup is ours next week. I don't know about you lot but the Scottish Cup is the holy grail for me. And I would have taken that, ahead of promotion at the start of the season. That curse ends next week.

It doesn't apply to hibs. That's quite clear.

We will lose next week in the most horrifying, embarrassing fashion ever.

If we do, it could make 86 look a fairly average capitulation. I'll take a win, or a loss, but god forbid we go 3-0 up against the Huns and make a muck of it.

The Holy Grail was never found. We'll never find the Scottish Cup if we keep considering it as such. It's a piece of scrap metal.

Confidence will be shot to pieces. Not a chance we're winning that.

How Stubbs gets our players focussed on next week is beyond me.
And if he does then i applaud him massively

Eh? Its a Cup Final,a chance for immortality,we shouldn't even need a manager for next week.

Luck evens itself out over a season apparently. I expect 8 penalty and 15 red cards for rangers in the first 15 minutes. Sorted.

We're still the greatest team in the world.

It's a polarised issue IMO and I hold nothing against those who see it as the holy grail but given the fact were stuck down here again and the manner of the way it happened I couldn't care less about the SC. wish I saw it the way others do but it won't make up for this disappointment for me.

There was also no way we were going up to Inverness a few days after the league cup final and winning. Gutted right now though.

It's a toss up between a 3/4 goal losing margin or a last minute defeat. Take your pick.

Knowing us, we'll somehow contrive to do both.
3-0 down and they'll score a last minute goal to make it 4-0.
You heard it here first - cos we are Hibs - and sadly this is what we do.

A 3-0 defeat would be the standard defeat I suppose.

Right now I'm more worried we are one up with five minutes to go, we would all just be waiting for it to happen

I certainly care about the Scottish Cup but if we win the thing it won't be the same after tonight as far as I'm concerned. It'll be a Scottish Cup win but it will be won by a team and manager who have failed in their main task. Aye it'll be great but not what I've dreamt about.

In that case, I choose a 2-0 win. The long wait will be over a lot sooner than some people on here think.
