It is becoming all to predictable, when we play Premier League teams we have open games when we have space to play and create, time and time again against others who put up a wall we cannot find a way through, stats totally predictable Hibs most possession ,most shots at goal, other team goal...and so it goes on an on week after week.
can we please have that plan B, this Saturday we will have another wall to play against bring the demolition squad in, if not now when?

JC commnets about being favourites only fires up opponents ,that too was predictable.
Shocking ,and no disrespect to Raith, we had a job to do and did not do it..

Or they could just move quicker, instead of strolling around looking for as many passes as they can fit in, until it eventually goes for a goal kick.

Yup, we have zero pace in our team apart from Boyle, the midfield is not direct enough, that's been the difference with us and Hearts last season and The Rangers this season.

The midfield today was not very inspiring at all.

Last 3 games.

Hibs - 57 shots, 26 on target, 6 goals

Opposition - 9 shots, 3 on target, 1 goal

My point is, as we've done most of the season, we create so much but don't convert, yet opposition do very little an score crucial goals. OK, in 2 of these 3 games we've won but didn't score enough, when we had so many chances in comparison to what the opposition create.

We are still playing too cute trying to walk ball into the net, taking that extra unnecessary touch when a shot or cross might produce something more positive.

How do we get this message through to the players. AS sure as hell isn't telling them to change their approach. Seems simple enough to me. Can't produce anything worse and who knows might just pay off. C'mon Hibs just give it a go!!!

The midfield is direct if you select the proper personnel. Boyle, McGeough, McGinn & Henderson?

Most of our shots are with the opposition defenders blocking the ball, we are just so slow with the build up play. The opposition attempts are breakaways or from set pieces. When we do on the odd occasion play with pace our good players look fantastic and link up much better.

In this league you have to have strength and pace, for example last season Hearts moved the ball quickly to big strong tanks up front and usually took an early chance forcing the opposition out a little then they exploited the gaps

Whereas we play patient slow build up football which constantly allows the opposition to regroup and reorganise themselves defensively, in the cups we've done well as teams come at us but in this league teams are perfectly happy to just sit in deeper and deeper in the knowledge we'll continue to go side to side with no penetration, not to mention the amount of chances we do create and somehow contrive to miss, for these teams we're a dream to play against as they know if they defend well they'll be comfortable and it's just about taking their chance when it comes and it's happening regularly now

Same problem as last few years,no real pace or quality delivery into the box,if we had Wallace and tavernier as our wing backs I would think that would have been enough to stroll this league.
