Did we not go through a spell where we changed to white socks because the team thought they were lucky? McLeish spell in charge?

Btw - should be green with white tops if it's to be a current choice.

I think we have only played in white socks for 5 or 6 seasons. We played in black socks between the wars. Green socks the rest of the time.

The first time I saw Hibs in white socks was 1971 at Tynecastle when Arthur Duncan outpaced the Hearts defence to win the match 2-1.

They played in white socks most of that season including the cup semi defeat to Rangers at Hampden.

White socks are naff. They diminish the colours and should be banned. Green socks, white tops for me everytime.
