It's really ****ing annoying when you call the ticket line at 10.03am and the tickets aren't available for sale yet. Can't the system just tick over at 10am?

Managed to get them after a bit of a wait for the site to sort itself out, was just seeing a blank white screen for about 15 mins but it kicked into gear all of a sudden. 2 tickets bought so all good. As a side point, I seemed to be having more luck on the mobile website but not on the laptop so if anyone's having problems maybe try that way?

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the double lettered rows i.e (AA, BB etc) start at the front of Raiths stand.

I was near the front for the Scottish Cup game there and I'm sure I had a double lettered row seat and was surpised to find I was near the front.

You can get them today if you go down to the ticket office and buy them in person. There's a queue of about 1 hour though.

If you buy them online or on the phone you can only pick them up from 10am tomorrow.

bought one in person at the ticket office for HH (for someone who needs to be near the front) and I was told it's 8 rows up so would expect LL to be 12 rows up. It's a weird numbering system though cause I bought a further 5 in AE and was told that was the very back row. Also saw ZZ available online which I would have thought would be higher up that AE but apparently not!

To be fair to the ticket office they did have 4 windows open for sales even when I arrived down there about 11. It's just the number of people, and the fact some were also buying for saturday and renewing STs, which meant a decent wait.

Ridiculous and an unnecessary waste of ******* time. The SPFL should implement a ticketing system based on bar code and all clubs should have to issue tickets from it so that fans can print at home or use their smartphone passbook. Making people line up for bits of paper is preposterous. #spflstillinthedarkages

Yeah, the one at the side of the pitch is split into two for some reason? Most of the time half of it is never used.

Actually, I've just double checked ( never paid too much attention this morning), one of the stands in the list is "Wheelchair Area" - it does have McDermaid Stand and Railway Stand though.

Out of curiosity while on the e-ticketing site about an hour ago checked availability for Wednesday's game and was being offered a single seat in McDermid in Row AE. I was told earlier this afternoon that more tickets have been made available. The small section of the Railway stand!!

Aldo

Dempster said on Twitter we've sold just over 2000 of 4000 allocated, must have been given main stand tickets but waiting to sell away end first before releasing these.

The Mcdermind holds 3,500 and the railway 500. That'll be where 4000 are from and confirms what I was told

We will still have a situation where number of ST is greater than availability for certain games , so are we going back to days when we have to camp outside ER the night before tickets go on sale.
There are plenty of clubs who run points system and don't have problems with it.

People had concerns that the loyalty points devalued the season ticket as it took them out of the first chance of tickets for Tynecastle etc.
It was ignored by those defending the system on here but not thankfully by the club.
It was an expensive system that brought in no extra cash for the club.

just a reminder, or a warning to some that have not been there for a while. we had a very bad crush, at half time when we filled our end. I phoned and complained to Raith. people were trying to come in, while others were trying to get out of the concourse. bairns were scared, and people arguing saying stop pushing etc. was a bit messy. the steward I spoke to said....I've been told to stay here! eventually spoke to polis, who then got on the radio about it.

I'm wary of getting into another loyalty scheme debate but for me we needed something for 2 reasons:

1. To ensure regular away travellers got tickets for bigger away and cup games when demand was higher.

2. To help those who can't buy a season ticket and attend away games for various reasons get some priority over those who simply won't attend.

I think the former was relatively successful in that the only game it really proved to be an issue was Tynecastle and the points were set in such a way that all regular away attendees who were also ST holders were at the top of the pile whilst other ST holders also had a chance of getting a ticket as was always the case at Tynecastle.

The latter I think probably hasn't been achieved. I absolutely understand why the points have been set as they are due to the administrative process but regular walk ups, HTV subscribers who live abroad etc are lumped in with someone who has potentially attended only 1 game in the last 2 seasons.

I think we agree that if it were tweaked those at the top who travel away regularly should remain at the top. It's what happened to those below that could have been amended slightly. Anyway that's my two pennies (again) and I'm out now.

You know how much ticketmaster costs, but didn't know the Ticket office staff were receiving lots of abuse?

By the way, I hear the abuse they endured Today was well over the top......

Anybody who abuses the ticket office staff should have their client ref number cancelled. No more tickets. Simple.

I can honestly say I have never had any trouble what so ever purchasing away tickets... always had 10/10 customer service - my dad aswell. I never realized it was such an issue for supporters. I mentioned it before, if it was such an issue why did we only sell out one away end this season - swynecastle

Btw, I have no idea how much ticket master costs. When I said the scheme was expensive, I was referring to the fact that people were calling the ticket office to ask questions about the loyalty point scheme. A lot. How many points do I have? When do my points get added for this game? Why haven't my points been added for that game yet? Why has the threshold for Tynie been set at that level? Etc etc.
And then there are all the emails to answer on top of that, with all the same questions.
I wasn't aware people were abusing the staff when they were doing it as well which makes it ten times worse.
The club only have a small staff and I prefer as much of the budget being spent on players as possible.
