So that's Edinburgh City and also Hearts playing at home at 3pm next Saturday. If we're involved, we surely will be on the Sunday.

Didn't want to create a new thread for this, but what happens if we tie with Falkirk in terms of points as well as goal difference? What stat do they look at next?

No it would be goals for first of all, and then head to head.

We're 3 goals behind them so if we make up the goal difference we'll make up the goals scored so it doesn't matter, would be the same outcome either way.

Not necessarily. 4-0 Hibs and 2-1 Falkirk would put Falkirk ahead on goals scored.

Yeah but they'd also be ahead on goal difference, we need to win by a margin of 3 more than Falkirk today, if we do that we finish 2nd I think.

2-1 is a difference of 1, 4-0 is a difference of 4, that is a total of 3... So we would be level on goal difference however Falkirk would be 1 goal scored better off.

The semi final dates have been changed by BT Sport. They are now on the Tuesday and Friday nights which makes the schedule even more hectic with less recovery time

**** sake the semis are going to be on the Tuesday and Friday. 2 days after the quarter match on the Sunday we may have to play again.

I heard the Raith match will be 5.35 for what it's worth and not lunch time.

So would it look like this? Pretty confused here ! (not sure about TV coverage though)

Wed 4th May – Vs Raith Rovers (Away) – KO TBC (BT Sport? clashes with Champions League)
Saturday 7th May Vs Raith Rovers (Home) – KO TBC (BT Sport)
Tuesday 10th May – Vs Falkirk (Home) – KO TBC (BT Sport)
Friday 13th May – Vs Falkirk (Away) – KO TBC (BT Sport)
Tuesday 17th May - Vs Kilmarnock - (Home) KO TBC (TV Coverage Unknown)
Saturday 21st May – Vs The Rangers – KO 15:00 (BBC Scotland/Sky Sports)
Wednesday - 25th May v Kilmarnock (Away) KO TBC (TV Coverage Unknown)

It's a farce we had no game yesterday and less recovery time for playoff game.

So if today goes to form, meaning the likelihood is we finish third...

Wednesday 4th 7.45
Saturday 7th 12.30
Tuesday 10th 7.45
Friday 13th 7.45

Correct? Finishing second then means we'd get a day less of a break before the semi final, probably a good thing, and a day's extra rest before the final first leg.

Brutal if the semi 2nd leg is moved to the Friday.

It's my 30th and I deliberately moved my party from the Saturday to the Friday to avoid missing the game. Absolutely nothing I can do about it now either. Nightmare.

:agree: Nightmare for you, S. Whilst not exactly on the same level, I'm going to see From The Jam on the Fri in Falkirk so will be gutted if it's moved too.....

The good thing about the playoffs may be is that the players don't have to travel far in first rounds - Raith and Falkirk aren't too far away compared to Inverness or QOS.

Trying to look for some positives...

Worst part is too no extra money for Hibs aswell. Just part of the TV deal. Potentially 3 home televised games and Hibs won't receive a penny from it.

Why the **** do we put up with this nonsense?

:agree:
All for TV, let's give the fans as little notice as possible  And can anyone explain why RR return leg is a 12.30 ko?
