If we end up third in this league it is an absolute disgrace Falkirk have tried their best to help us and we have still struggled .

Could have scored double that tonight if it hasn't been for their keeper

So if we win 4-0 and Falkirk 1-0 on Saturday we have the same goal difference and same number of goals scored. Mascot race to decide second?

I'd take a 4-0 home win all day long in normal circumstances, gives us good confidence regardless of goal difference etc for the games ahead. If we can build momentum from now on starting by firstly beating Qos on Sun then see where we are with 30 min to go. Our home form will be key in these playoffs & could be the difference if we can be a bit more clinical in front of goal.

At the start of the season I would have taken a playoff place plus 2 cup finals. :agree:

We won't mention the cross he came for and missed in case the illusion is shattered.

Another clean sheet, good save first half. Little to do otherwise.

He put the Dumbarton dude off at the same time though.

Someone on the radio claimed there would be a playoff to determine the playoff. Pretty sure he is wrong

4-0 is always a good result. It gives Hibs a wee chance if they can score lots of goals on Sunday again.

But why oh why did Hibs contrive to lose twice to tonight's opponents earlier this season? Totally frustrating. Second place should have been wrapped up before tonight and there would no need for another massive effort on Sunday.

Dumbarton are woeful, and it could have been a cricket score tonight.

Stokes to score 3rd was a pleasant £80 Brucie Bonus, well done Hibs!

Few folks up back of East were pointing out culprit, didn't see who though and no stewards have taken action yet. Hope action is taken at some point. In the end though fannys like that don't belong at ER.

Landed row in front of me. Fair to say I needed a change of underwear after it went off. Caught some woman on the leg and burnt a hole in her shoe. Looked like a bunch of kids who ran away pretty sharpish. Stewards were looking through cctv footage.

Woman was pretty shaken up by it. Absolutely nae need. Hope they're caught and taken to task for it.

Scotsman headline is Keatings got a hat trick then goes on to list the scorers which does not include a hat trick. Idiots - no wonder they are failing when they can't get basics correct.

Edit - apparently the goal has been awarded to JK. I thought it was an own goal myself....

Great result yesterday. Sad to see some people are still finding something to moan about. I'm usually the first person to speak out when the team lets us down. But they did extremely well yesterday and deserve full credit.

I would still stick with Logan between the posts. He missed that cross, but it was no simple take. You could even argue that by going for it, it put the Dumbarton player off.
