After the final round of SPFL fixtures, The Rangers don't play for 20 days before the final. They will be rested and we might be tired but they could easily lose their sharpness and focus.

We will either win it or we won't

I would rather it our way with constant competitive games to keep them sharp

Well be playing hard games whilst Rangers will be relaxing in la manga.

The rest didn't work for us last season so I'd rather we had games than a sunshine holiday.

they'll have bounce games fixed up down south

It'll work to our advantage if we finish second and get a small rest to reenergise before the run of games. We'll then be rested before going into high pressure games in the run up to the game, so will be well prepared. Rangers will struggle to maintain sharpness.

Maybe The Rangers' long break gives them an advantage. They'll have a couple of weeks to relax and maybe get over niggling injuries, whereas Hibs will be exhausted and suffering from various strains, aches and pains... as well as the pressure of playing in so many vital games in a few weeks.

On the other hand, we could finish 4th and lose the first play-off to Raith, giving us a long break before the final but be on a complete downer knowing we won't be going up and a lot of the of the players have put in transfer requests, so their minds won't be on the job anymore.

We won't actually know until the day, so it's all pure speculation just now.

Over those 20 days when Rangers are free to go to the pub, the bookies, attend Orange walks, etc.; Hibs might have to play two, four or five very competitive matches.

I think this is advantage Hibs if they can get a full squad fit.

Last year this worked against Hibs in the play-offs while Rangers had a two match quarter final.
