From the first half

Was he fouled or did he dive?

From mid way in the west stand it looked like a foul

Looked like a dive to me but maybe I was just assuming that because he has previous

From my TV, it looked like there was a tiny, tiny amount of contact, and then he threw himself to the ground...

I was screaming for a penalty... the Mrs reckons he went over far too easy!

Watch the highlights, a blatant dive. Should get another roasting from his manager.

Don't think it was a blatant dive but it looked like he'd gone over pretty easily.

Referee could've been sensible and just told him to get up imo.

He dived, was never a penalty to be fair.

A deserved booking for cheating.

Sometimes when you are switching feet after a fake it can look like a dive. Hard one to call.

he was tripped, but he dived after the contact.

I havent seen the pictures but it looked like a dive to me at the time.

The slow motion shows a blatant dive after the initial contact.

I thought it was a blatant and stupid dive.

One part of his game he needs to sort out. Does this a lot, makes him look stupid and us like cheats.

There was contact but he could of stayed on his feet. He just decided to stop moving his legs.

He was definitely looking at getting a penalty. Like it or not it's unfortunately become part of the game.

Dive, no question, and not even a convincing one.

He realised he'd lost the ball and went down out of frustration/desperation. Ref called it spot on.

There was contact but he went down in installments, no chance he was ever getting a penalty and a yellow was the correct outcome.

It was a great chance to score. He got his touch all wrong and threw himself to the ground when he realised he had messed up the chance. Definite dive.

We were also a bit lucky with the Hanlon hand ball incident. It would have been very harsh, but many refs would have given that especially against the huns.

Dive, no question, and not even a convincing one.

It is a side of his game he needs to improve.

Oh he had gone over when there was a clash of shins it would've been a pen but he thought he could still get the ball and took another step then went over. Clear dive.

I actually think he might have had a penalty there.

Definitely a dive. Said that to my brother as soon as Jason threw himself to the group and we were seated in the FF Lower. Just plain daft. Not the brightest button in the sewing kit box

It was a dive. It was also a foul. Keirnan caught him and he knew it - his reaction shows that.

Contact, but then Cummings waited until he realised the ball was out of reach and threw himself to the ground. Definite dive and booking.

Yeah, I agree, there was probably a foul, just a bit of contact originally. It was the time between the contact and Cummings theatrically going down that meant he was always going to get a booking for diving.

Was just turning round ( as my mate spoke to me at that moment before it happened) and I actually thought he slipped.

Just shows you if you don't pay attention what you actually miss in a split second.

Contact from my view in the West. Lots of exageration ad well. Question should be why didnt Stokes put his laces through it. Cut back wasnt the best option

It was a soft penalty and then a dive. There was contact in the box that impeded Jason. He shouldn't have dived but the ref could have saved him by blowing for the pen. Should have been a case of common sense with no pen or booking awarded imo.

Stonewall dive and no problem with him being booked for it.

As usual he was trying to get the ball on his left side.If he knew where his right foot was he could have sidefooted into the net when it came to him.

The ball was cut back and he should let it pass him and open his body but he can't because he doesn't trust his right foot.So it wasn't rubbish.Open your eyes and watch what goes on.

My eyes are wide open thanks....he does look let it go past his left foot....what he was going to do after that who knows.

Couldn't really tell if it was a dive, but I thought that Stokes should have just had a pop with his left peg.

At the game I was shouting for a pen but having seen it again he did go down rather easily. Agree thought Stokes should have had a shot.

It was a dive for me, but he's nowhere as good as the king of divers, John McDonald of old rangers fame. He could dive inside his own half and convince the ref it was a stonewaller pen.

I think there was some incidental contact made but he fell later and theatrically (which is sometimes just an unfortunate outcome of falling down).

The infamous Polaris.

I'd prefer Cummings to concentrate on putting the ball in the back of the net and forget all about trying to milk a penalty.

I'm surprised at the stick JC is getting here - sure it was a dive but is was also a foul - definitely connected and hindered him - I think it could have been a pen AND he got booked for diving.

And because you now need to go down to get a pen. It encourages diving ...
