Was thinking earlier about how considering we have went through a few years of pretty poor Hibs teams, our ability to get to cup finals has been quite unbelievable, so I had a look at the last 5 years compared to the previous 25
1986 – 2011 - 25 years
1 scottish cup final (2001)
4 league cup finals (1991, 1993, 2004, 2007)
2012-2016 – 5 seasons
3 Scottish cup finals
1 league cup final
I realise its all about the winning, and our record on that front isn't great to say the least but there's no doubting that our team has done very well in the last few years to get to cup finals. Now we just need to round it off with a famous win next month.
