Not many managers chose to walk these days, unless it is to a higher paid job.

Also, Stubbsie has persuaded a few coaches to move north with him, so no doubt he'd be concerned about leaving them potentially jobless....as I think when he goes they would soon follow.

I am remaining calm, we still COULD get promotion this season.

Stubbs will keep going at it until he is either sacked or doesn't have his contract renewed.

I really hope he can turn this around and at least gain promotion. His last transfer window has been his undoing, but up until then he'd assembled a squad which proved it could compete with any SPL team.
He's a young coach who is still learning, but certainly has potential. Substitutions and stubbornness are his weak points.
I'm still 100% behind him.

Nothing to back it up but I have always thought that Stubbs wouldn't be sacked but would either leave for bigger and better or fall on his sword. That won't be decided until all the games are done but even despite the dreaded vote of confidence by LD she will know that another season in this league with the same people in charge will be a very difficult sell when it comes to season tickets.
