Ipswich were of course another magical story and they had to see off Spurs who had done the double the season before.

Manchester have spent more in the last two years on players than Leicester have in their history according to ITV.

I liked that stat. Also in 20 of their 22 wins they had LESS possession than the team they had defeated. Amazing. The secret of modern football? Well organised defence and fast counterattacks on the break.

My belated congratulations to Leicester City FC, their manager, and supporters. A tremendous achievement.

An incredible achievement. What a story. It is the football equivalent of a Formula One driver winning the championship in a souped-up Ford Cortina.

A story for the ages, the players and manager have now immortalised themselves in Leicester, English and I'd argue world football history. For a club with such a "cheap and cheerful" squad to out gun the big boys over 30+ games is completely remarkable.
It was a perfect storm for them with a weak Man U and Chelsea, as well as a seriously fortunate run with no injuries. We will never see anything like this again.
Seeing how their players and fans celebrated yesterday half makes me think of the scenes if we win the Scottish in three weeks time...
