Probably an over reaction but the rain has been bucketing down on Easter Road since before 9am this morning and shows no signs of ceasing - hopefully the drainage is up to scratch or else we've got another fixture headache on our hands!

Declare it unplayable and rest the team for the cup game. It's what big clubs do.

No way, remember the last team who had a match postponed to concentrate on the Scottish?

Just f*****g play it.

A little bit of liquid never stopped anyone.

Apart from Craig Levein.

Very harsh on the pesky jambo scamps.

They'd have only just put the sprinklers on at 9am this morning.

I reckon it's got to be in doubt, forecast suggests it's not stopping anytime soon either

It'll go ahead, imho. We've played in much worse conditions than this.

Would think the drainage system at ER will be able to cope. If this game was scheduled for tomorrow night that would've been different - this rain is forecast to be with us through the night and all day and night tomorrow too. Probably beneficial for us to get the game played (as long as we win).

Pitch looks good but as a matter of interest, is April one of these Summer Football months where we are all supposed to be watching these games in shirt sleeves? Brrrrrrrr!
