Conservative/Tory Independent hold (not a SNP loss) in an area where they are very good at getting their vote out.

They got 30% of the vote so it must be a decent area for them. It's still a surprise for the Tories to win

Not in council by elections in rural areas. Have also recently won a council by election in Aberdeenshire.

In all of the furore of winning a third term of Government, this by-election result was lost.

The SNP won Anderston on Thursday in Glasgow. Back on the winning trail again.:aok:
