7K Sold at the moment so the initial allocation of 12k is probably about what we will sell.

Thats only 3k over our normal home attendance. It's pretty poor for a semi final if we only sell 12k

We will sell no less than 14k, 7k is very good with 11 days to go until the game

It is but it's in Glasgow and it's an early kick-off. I'd guess the final number sold will be 11-14k.

15k - 20k will be the Hibs turnout and less than half that supporting Dundee Utd.

It's pretty good if you ask me, remember it's in Glasgow plus there's still another wave to go which we will sell most of our tickets in.

we have had the same kick off time for our last 3 semi finals through there and the minimum we have taken has been 14k, there is no rush to buy tickets and you will be able to buy on the day of the match, so to have sold 7k so far is encouraging.

Glasgow is only 40 mins away. It sometimes takes me 40mins to get down to ER on a match day.

Hearing that United only have tickets for the north and south left of their allocation as the 3000 cheap ones they were allocated have sold out.

Release more of the west stand FFS. Smacks of pure greed from the SFA and this stupid window dressing for the telly.

Sell out your initial allocation then you get more tickets, don't see the problem

There wouldn't be a problem if the tickets were all the same price. If they're giving them a few wedges of section b they can surely give them more without selling out the expensive seats first. There's a big difference in price.

Glasgow's where most, if not all, Scottish Cup semis have been played in my lifetime. Plus it's only around an hour away for most fans so it's not as if we're asking people to travel hundreds of miles.

If we only take around 12000 fans to this, it would be pretty poor but understandable given our current form.

Having 'waves' of ticket sales for the semi is dumb, just let folk buy them, there's going to be plenty to go around.

I think it's good. It lets people who really go to Hibs games a chance to get better seats and those who occasionally go get second choice.

If you want the best seats, buy your tickets as soon as sales begin.

Giving people a protected period to buy the best seats in, when there's literally more than half of Hampden to go around, is taking massaging the egos of the uberfans a bit too far, in my opinion.

You won't believe this, but there is a new house being built near Dunkeld and they have called it Narnia. It doesn't have a front door, you have to climb through the wardrobe.

I'm just wary. For the league cup final I asked for seats as far back as possible. As I needed four I ended up about six rows back left and behind of goal with not a particularly great view and there were loads of seats behind and higher free of spectators.
I'll pay before the match if I can

G! Quite close to pitch I reckon but was either that or Row A and B in D5 which I didn't fancy.

bought online as easier for me to do but less choice with rows etc. theres four of us.

good to hear the area - albeit higher up - was great at final (despite the result!)

Anyone have an educated guess on ticket sale numbers so far?

SlickShoes
07-04-2016, 09:22 AM
I'm going but the folk I usually go with can't make it so I'm only buying a single seat, based on sales and the size of the stadium there is no need to rush to get a ticket at this point. I suspect unlike the final folk won't be feeling the urgency to get a ticket as quickly.

It is poor but not really a surprise. I'd imagine a lot of people aren't going due to a combination of a loss of form and a hangover from recent hampden appearances.

It would be nice if there was a sudden collective change of heart and we got a decent crowd. Hopefully the team puts in a decent peformace, win or lose, to reward all those that do go.

It's games like this that Hibs should say keep your semi stub and if we make it too the final they are guaranteed a ticket. Although I suppose out of that 7k a lot will be season ticket holders anyway

As anyone in this group can buy unlimited tickets that may not be true. I have over 90 points but do not have a season ticket for example.

Agree with that entirely.

This is a game where the real hardcore of the support will be there regardless and it would be nice to see them rewarded in some way.

p.s. I'm not one of said hardcore and will be watching the game in a bar in Munich

I haven't bought ours yet because I'm waiting for a better area in the East stand. Will be buying three soon. I fully expect the number to get to about 14K by next week. No hurry to buy tickets. Still deciding how to get there as well.

Bought five tickets yesterday for the East f4 . Was about 30 people in front of me . Lassie said they had been very busy .
I think squirrels screamer will have tempted a few more to go .
Just going to take the car as a bus would cost £60 plus for the two adults and three kids . £20 petrol and a breakfast in a Wotherspoons will be the cheaper option .

Tell me about it . Mini bus with no toilet . £15 adult , £10 for kids .
I actually paid £15 a head ( including kids ) for the Falkirk 4-3 semi bus .
I remember getting the Shades bar bus for free if you sold 50 ,10p pontoon tickets :)

I contacted the ticket office last Friday regarding wheelchair tickets and I was told that my details had been taken and I was just asked which stand I wanted, to which I gave a reply and I've heard nothing since.

I'll leave it until Monday and if I've heard nothing I'll contact them and hopefully they'll have the tickets available for me to collect on Tuesday night.
