Does anyone actually know what is happening with them?

Desperately need them back if we are to have any chance of promotion with the amount of games we will have to play

In Stubbs' latest Hibs TV interview he said that Fyvie would begin training again on Monday, which I found strange as he was supposed to be in with a chance for the cup final 3 weeks ago, and he was hopeful McGeouch would be back not long after that.

He picked up another knock in training.

Ah, that's unfortunate, especially with Fontaine and Keatings also doing the same.

I'd say we miss Fyvie more as currently McGinn is having to do too many roles in central midfield - Fyvie holds and allows McGinn a lot more licence to get forward - when's the last time you saw McGinn fereting away in the box these last few games ?

The midfield has chopped and changed and it's no surprise we were on a great run when our midfield area was settled.

Do you sometimes wonder if we are getting fed a load of crap about McGeough, he's had more time off than the Duke of Edinburgh. How many times has he given us 90 mins this season. Just when we really need him he goes and splits another nail.

What is your theory about the real story?

He's likely to be out for a while....his hip is knackered....check his career never went 10 games in a row without getting injured etc

News to me, it is his groin AFAIK.

Was his ankles last season.

Whilst I'm not doubting that he's struggling, and more than a bit injury prone, I'm not really seeing the link between injuries to someone's ankle and their groin.

He is a very good player but he is obviously injury prone, we need players who really want to play, like the McGinns, Henderson,Stevenson McGregor Hanlon and so on. If he has a problem take him out and get it fixed and stop telling us he "he might be ready for next week " he never is. On a number of occasions I thought he might be getting rested for an up and coming game but he has missed a shed load of games and I have to wonder about his attitude.

I agree, especially Dylan, why are we always so damn unlucky with key players getting injured. If we can get both back It'll give us a massive lift.

I was like that when I read that Gerrard was getting his wisdom teeth out to cure his bad back.

Okay.

TBH I was a bit disappointed last season when he went off and had an operation on our time. I remember thinking, thats him making sure he's ok for his return to Parkhead, call me cynical, but I I feel young Henderson for example has a much better attitude and lets us know that he is delighted to be playing for us. I don't get that from McGeough.

He has seen a Specialist and has an imbalance and is doing strength. Work to help this
Clearly he will then step up training and and see if any reaction or if he picks up a knock
Bit if brought back to quick he could break down again and be out the play offs
We need him for these games so you won't be seeing him in the next two games thats for sure

Fyvie is our most underrated player. Can't wait until he's back fit. Dylan can't be replied on so when he appears it's obviously a good thing but can't really take appearances for granted.

We can't rely on the two guys enhancing our promotion bid and in the cup and need to get results with what's available. Teams have sussed out our tactics and we need to get around this. The three central defenders worked very well against caley and it seems strange this hasn't been used more often. Also now farid is available he has to start in my eyes and he is the only forward who harries defenders into mistakes. I've always been a happy clapper and felt that once we got the regular midfield and Hanlon back it was game on. Were running out of games and need to find a way to put a run of wins together. Maybe it will take just one good win but the run has to start proto.

I'm not convinced that El Alagui is fit enough to last 90 minutes, which is why Stubbs prefers to bring him off the bench instead. That is one tactical decision I agree with.

He is certainly fit enough to play longer than the 10 to 15 he got yesterday. Stubbs is far too slow to change things when we are losing and it's fast becoming infuriating tbh

He's been involved in every matchday squad for the last six weeks. I'm a bit concerned if he's not fit enough to last 90 minutes after that length of time.

Could be the case. Stubbs threatened to drop players after the Raith defeat, yet the only changes yesterday were due to injury.

It could be that his ongoing injury flares up after half an hour or so, which would explain why he can only be used for a short period.

I'd rather have him coming off the bench than being "two weeks away".
