7000 junior doctors demo outside Westmonster 16th March. Apparently not reported in press.
Yesterday hundreds at pro indy march in Glasgow again not reported in press (to the best of my knowledge).
WTF? You have to wonder, what else are we not being told.

Why on earth would there be a pro-Indy march yesterday? If there was and the SNP and Nicola Sturgeon were involved then there is no way that the press would not have covered it.

As a pro indy type myself, I also wonder the same??

The press have loved the whole junior Doctors thing as well. I can't find anything from them about a demo on the 16th March but they have announced their strike dates. No wonder the press haven't covered something that has either had no press release or hasn't happened.

The press have 2 settings. Media circus and media black out. Doesn't matter what the story is.

The media cycle: stuff which seemed the most urgent situation of all time will suddenly vanish to be replaced by something else. No wonder the modern attention span seems ridiculously short and adults are filling in colouring-in books to give their heids a bit of peace.

I noticed a thought-provoking article the other day. David Beckham sewed up a rip in his daughter's doll. They don't come more important than that. Thank goodness there's nothing major happening in the world.

The Junior Doctor thing appeared in my timeline on Facebook today. It's a picture taken at a previous demo. Like the claimed Indy March this demo did not happen . Facebook really is a haven for the gullible.

I agree with you 100% however, that statement sadly applies to all news sources these days.
