Just a wee word of warning for fans thinking of travelling to the semi-final by train. The normal Edinburgh - Queen St trains will not be running due to maintenance work in that station. Travellers will either need to use Queen St low level or Glasgow Central. Both will add approx. 30-40 minutes to the journey.

Bit of a pisser - train was my preferred option - might look at another option now.

Travel in style.

All aboard the Golden Eagle bus then

Except for increased passengers due to closure of the other line.

Next five months traveling into work from Bathgate on what are already chocca trains is going to be fun!

Tell me about it from the 20th that's my daily effing commute. Five months it's out of action and no compo. Vitot Bsardos
if I have any hints I'll let you know. But for now based on the leaflets, since GQS will have a queuing system for my commute I'll probably opt for the central for return.

FFS booked train tickets tonight already lol it does say online that it will be queen street low level (means nothing to me) but still states a journey time of 70 mins from Edinburgh. Anyone know if this is right? Surely not 30-40 mins on top of this?

Yeh. About 25/30 minutes to Bathgate then 40 to Glasgow.

Unless it's on the other route, which is a 25 minute longer than usual service, so 50 minutes plus 25 = 75.

So looks like train to Edinburgh and then a bus or try and persuade the mrs to drive me and the old man to Glasgow with the promise of a day of shopping!
