Laddie not happy as was going with his work. Soft ground with expected damp wet weather predicted so decision made yesterday.

Got an email the other day about it.

Think it's because the ground they did a lot of work on over the winter hadn't bedded in quite right and with the damp, cool weather expected at Musselburgh over the next week or so it was going to be dangerous for horses on the bend.

There was 30 of us going from my work. Pretty gutted and it could perhaps be seen as bad organizing however the safety of the horses has to come first.
