Not sure how successful it was at the Hearts game.. A fair few GB and a long battery life id imagine. My post is more in hope than anything. Would love to watch the game.

That stupid CL rule applies, so not even Hibs TV can broadcast video. I really wish that either the non CL clubs protested en masse, or they didn't schedule games to clash with CL fixtures.

Very strange how the Hull v Arsenal game was live on tv last Tuesday with a 7pm kick off time.
The two champions league games kicked off at 8pm which means their rule has been broken as they would have been playing the second half at the same time as the champions league games kicked off.

Would love to know how this was allowed

TV blackouts in sports have caused a legal action before and I suspect more will be coming on this once sufficient public rage surfaces.

My understanding was that the English authorities thumbed their noses at CL rules and paid the fine , possibly as much as £1 million.

You don't get a 3G or 4G signal on O2 in Dingwall and thats only 10 miles up the road, He's right though, the signal could be an issue.

HibsMax

This needs to be fixed the next time the deal is negotiated. Showing the game to overseas viewers who are not even in the same broadcast zone should be permitted. They can block IP ranges. I know there are ways around that but that doesn't mean we throw our hands up and declare defeat. No offence to blind people but I want to watch the game, listening in isn't the same. I'll have the game on but it still sucks.

I doubt that would happen because it's the big numbers in Asia and other places where they will be looking to retain viewers.

It would also need to become a major issue regularly for big clubs for any change to happen.

Indeed, but as the Periscope technology improves, and its consumption becomes more popular, Sky's investment will increasingly be under threat. They are duty-bound to protect their position.

I think it's a King Canute position. They need to press to allow live paid streaming so folk can watch the games otherwise people will find other ways. So many TV programmes are available over the web now on demand that the dodgy sites are not used as much. TV companies had to do that. Hopefully football too.
