On a brighter note, thought the big man was brilliant today. He really has turned into an excellent player for us these past couple of months. Henderson was good today as well, again..!

He was head and shoulders about any Hibs player today. But was very lucky not to see red though. Felt sorry for him as you could see he really wanted to win this.

MOTM easily.

Our man of the match by a country mile. He's been a very consistent performer over the last few weeks and thoroughly merits his place in the team.

Yip big Marv was good McGregor was Motm until in the 90th min he decided to run away from the man with the ball.

Though he played really well. Couldn't see the elbow incident from where I was. The big fella didn't deserve to finish on the losing team after that performance.

I was in the south stand and had what I thought was a great view if "the incident." The linesman was only a yard away and flagged for a goal kick but the ref thought otherwise. I can't say I saw any deliberate use of an elbow either, merely a coming together of two players who were competing for the ball.

I thought he played well first half, but thought Mcgreggor was MOM for hibs

Part of me thought he was lucky not to see red (but I saw a certain Ian Black do worse and get away with it so apparently even worse is ok...)
Anyhoo, there was one bit the TV covered brilliantly where Bartley just kept pressure on a County player and eventually pushed him right back deep into his own half. Thought his desire to fight for the team was brilliant.

Agree with all the above, I thought he was excellent.

The booking happened close to where I was sitting but didn't see him doing anything wrong at the time. The County player looked like he obstructed him and was blatantly play acting. Based on some of the comments above I may have seen this through green tinted specs.

There was an incident after when he ran from our own half and was clearly fouled and the linesman didn't flag.

Likewise. I was right in front of it and noticed nothing untoward. Either Bartley himself was blocking our view or the cameras are making it look worse than it was.

Incidentally, the goalkick was given.

Bartley my Hibs MOTM today. The one player who seems to have a bit of dig about him.

Had a great game. Came into the stand after as well.

He came in to the stand beside me at full time to speak to his family, he looked absolutely gutted. Don't think words can console him just now

Bartley MOM no doubt. Got in tackles and was totally ignored when making great runs forward. Head up big man nowt to do with you this loss.

Easily our best player today. Look at their winning goal again and see his desire to get back. Guy must have gad about 15 yard start on him and he still nearly got there. He cares :agree:

Even at that joke of a first goal was he not trying to put in the last ditch tackle as well?

Big man was good today, 100% effort from him, there's been a few times he's burst forward lately, just wish he would have a pop at goal more.

The bizarre thing about it was he booked Bartley but rather than a free kick, the goalie started off again with a goal kick.

Watch it again on tv, deliberate elbow & very lucky it was only a yellow
