Cracking atmosphere, not a bad start to the game, Jordan Henderson on a yellow after 2 minutes..

The ref likes a red card, doubt it'll be 11v11 at the end.

Lad at my work gone to this tonight. He paid about 50 quid.

Any idea when the walk out over prices will be? :-)

Decent game though.

My brother in law went down as well - think he's sitting in the back row. It looks closer to Goodison than Anfield. 😂

Never seen such a gash performance from Man U at Anfield....ever, that Felinni is not a PL player, amongst others. Pool should be 2 or 3 up.

Carrick on for Rashford. Carrick playing in the middle of a back 3 it seems.

Yep. I argued that until I was blue in the face but was assured he would never make it at United or at the top level....

I am watching this match in the bar of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Muscat. The bar is full of United fans as you might expect. I am torn as to who to support. I would normally go with Liverpool but am leaning towards United as things stand.

Terrific from Liverpool; it could easily have been five or six nil. De Gea is the only shining light in this United team.

Van Gaal.......what the hell is keeping him in that job? One of the biggest clubs in the world simply cannot accept what he's delivering. It's a total shambles.

Can only assume the decision has been made that he's away in the summer and a replacement has been found/in the process of being found and they are just seeing the season out. Only logical explanation.

Did the commentator say Schweinsteiger had only had one training session since injury yet played ? Surely not.

Didn't hear the chanting myself.

Liverpool should have won by a greater margin, thought United set up far too defensively/negatively. Could you imagine Fergy sending a team to field with no intent to win the game? Just don't think LVG understands the game in in England

Man U were absolute gash and may it continue.

Every time you see GalaGala/Giggs on the bench, they are just staring into space. Would thought that Giggs
would be up at the line and shouting at the players. His passion has gone.

Hibernia&Alba
11-03-2016, 07:16 AM
Humiliated this season by MK Dons, Midtjylland, Bournemouth, Norwich, Sunderland, just for starters. No other club in the world the size of Man United would allowed their manager to continue. There must be a done deal with Mourinho or a.n. other; for, if not, it's mismanagement on an incredible scale by the United board.

Watched this when I came in last night, i's hard to believe it's the d=same team as just 2 weeks ago who looked really good, misjointed and no shape whatsoever, hard to work out what he was trying to achieve, he even had the young new striker playing as a right winger WTF.

He's clueless, totally clueless. Changed to a back three at half time and brought on Michael Carrick to play in it. He's gone to pieces, and it's clear the players have no idea what he's trying to do.

"Idiots" is putting it mildly. The mentality of someone who can do that must be in serious shape. There would have been several folk in the ground who'd lost loved ones in the disaster. Football is ghastly sometimes.
