Anyone got any good info on parking around and about Hampden? I've generally always been on buses or trains going through before but need to drive from Edinburgh this time round (and getting there early isn't an option).
Any advice?

G42 7HJ the streets around there are about 1 mile from Hampden with no restrictions and good motorway access. I live in this area plenty of space.

Been on Internet and no useful info anywhere. Plenty of no parking near stadium but nothing about where the nearest parking is. 2001 I got parked no problem in Battlefield area but not sure if that's banned now. 2007 I got parked somewhere. Turned left at Asda then about a mile away.like I said no useful info. National stadium????
I'm leaving early and will drive about and find somewhere as I don't mind a walk

Depending on where you are seated at the stadium, anywhere from Kings Park station and North, is free parking. Between Kings Park and Hampden is permit zone parking on match days

Make way to Trophy centre Aitkenhead Rd G42 0QG. Govanhill Steet, Hickman Street, Holbrook Street all in amongst the houses just past Trophy Centre. Go just past Trophy Centre turn into Govanhill Steet plenty of Parking in and around there. Place is jammed if Celtic at Hampden.

I stay in area it's about 15 - 20 mins walk to stadium. You will not get much closer without restrictions or it being busy.

I've parked in streets around the Beechwood pub without a problem and also further out towards Kings Park station.

I paid to park 5 mins from ground last time. Think going to head there. Was 5 quid or so and perfect. Think was a park or something. Wheels were still on so all good.

This was for Celtic final.

Cost a couple of quid but worth it. I booked after the semi and am 200 yards from the south.

:agree:

We'll be heading down the M74 for a few miles and this is the area we normally park as it allows easy access/departure.

Queens Park recreation ground? A mate of mine usually parks there, think that's where I'm headed on Sunday.

Tried to go to QP Rec ground but it was closed .
Parked in Battlefield road. Meter says no charge in a Sunday.
Fingers crossed.

We did the same. There was nothing on the website to suggest that it would be closed. Ended up in a bowling club's car park, just around the corner, for a fiver.

2 of our buses turned up towards the South stand today and let us off. I expected the buses to turn back down Polmadie road and park as normal. they stayed roughly where we got off and the driver phoned me to let me know. some of our guys went to Polmadie after, and could not find us. I was expecting phone calls from 2 groups but never got them. I am gutted, as we eventually had to go, and left 7 people. that topped off a very bad day. I could not face the pub, so home. pissed off.
