Is there interest in this?

Someone mentioned it on the MB and I don't mind organising but unsure what numbers we would be looking at and it would have to be sorted quickly. If anyone is interested pop your name on this thread and if it looks a goer by early in the week I'll get something sorted. Remember it would be around about a 3pm departure so take work commitments and stuff into account.

Me, if there's a pick up from Deer Park.

Actually scrap that, as it'll be out your way! Barnton?

Deer park would have suited me too but realise its miles out the way unless I leave motor near barnton way.

Just a wee bump for this. Going to need a fair few more to make it viable and will likely need to book tomorrow. For reference we would likely be leaving ER at about 3pm if that helps anyone make a decision.:flag:

Best place for pick up and car parking for West Lothian guys might be the premier Inn at South Queensferry? Just up the slip road before the bridge.

I would have thought the Ferrytoll park and ride would be ideal for both parking and the bus.

If there was a drop off at deer park I would be interested but can't if not due to no car so couldn't get home after

It's just over the bridge at Inverkeithing.
Not sure what the rules are about random coaches turning up

The garage of the bus company we use is based between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Whilst we wouldn't be able to do a pick up at Deer Park due to time we may be able to do a drop off there late on.

That'd be perfect for me as I could get into town during the day for the bus leaving

Rules that out, Bugger leaving your car parked up in Fife. 😄

As long as the Premier Inn don't mind me leaving my car there for a while, I'm happy with getting there, as it's not that far to drive for where I am. Also, happy to give anyone a lift back to the Livingston/Uphall/Broxburn area when we return, if they don't mind being seen in an old Renault Clio!

As of yet I don't know because I don't have definite numbers or a quote from the bus company. I'd aim to keep it at £15 a head or below though if possible.

What time would we likely get back to Edinburgh at?

Just need to know if I should book a few hours off at work the following morning.

Assuming a 7.45 kick off I'd think about 1am if it finishes in 90

Nice one. I'm going to put in for an early finish on the Wednesday and a few hours off on the Thursday morning.

Let me get back to you, but if you could put me down for one provisionally at the moment please?

Just a warning, if u park at the ferry toll park and ride they have locked their gates in the past and fans have had no way of getting their cars until the morning, happened a couple of seasons ago after a Ross county midweek game

As has been mentioned, Hotel at McDonalds just before the bridge is the best place to park up.

Free parking.

Guys just a wee heads up that if we don't see a few more numbers by tomorrow afternoon it looks like a no go.

We are looking at approx £500 for a 49 seater and that isn't really doable with the numbers we have just now.

My hours off at work got approved so count me in if we get enough numbers.
