Very sorry to hear that mate,
I lost my dad to cancer 26 years ago and we were still going to Easter Road a fortnight before he passed away, I'm sure you'll have lots of great memories of him and like me, all the ones shared together as man and boy Hibs fans are up there and can never fade,

I am so sorry for your loss and, having lost my own father suddenly, albeit not unexpectedly, to a degenerative and untreatable condition last Summer, I have a good idea what you and your family will be going through.
My Dad never saw Hibs win the Scottish Cup either but I have the lasting memory of him standing in the South Stand at Hampden in 2007 as we all sang Sunshine on Leith with tears streaming down his face and unable to speak because of what it meant to him!
You will have lasting memories of your Dad and you will never lose those. Cherish those memories and look forward with your head up to what is next for you and your family as that is what your Dad would want you to do. You will never forget him and he will be standing beside you at Hampden next Sunday as my Dad will be beside me!
Familes support each other too at this time - take care of each other and of yourself!

Condolences, to you and your family, lost my cousin last week, a season ticket holder. We have all lost too many friends and family who never saw Hibernian live up to our expectations, especially the SC

Condolences .
Like many on here who have passed on their good wishes, I too lost my father to cancer but it happened only a year and a bit after I emigrated.
He too was a Hibby, and a season ticket holder when the only season tickets sold were for the old centre stand.
