I see that this game is being televised live on Tuesday despite it being a Champions League night.

How can this possibly be after the difficulties we've been having over the last few weeks? Surely the same regulations should apply for all?

Special dispensation from UEFA.

If that is the case then some Associations and Clubs have more influence than others which is entirely wrong.

Think I read the clubs were willing to take the fine as it was still financially worth it.

One rule for 1 and another for the rest of us.

Considering that this particular rule cost Hibs in the region of £100k...letters need writing :agree:

I hope we make a big fuss about this! Shocking from UEFA.

Given how European competition benefits so few Scottish clubs, is there a point coming soon where there's no real benefit being in uefa at club level?

Heard on the radio that basically the English FA just stood up to UEFA . Tried to get them to play it at 5pm and told them to bolt

Joke. I'm glad the Hibs replay wasn't on TV though as it filled the stadium.

As each year progresses, for the most part the European tournaments have turned into a very predictable big yawn.

Thought it was good being at ER for the Derby and that being the only way to see the game live. I appreciate this isn't the opinion of overseas supporters though. **** tv.

Agree with this actually. Someone (St. Johnstone?) even lost money from playing in Europe. There is absolutely no benefit.
