In a role i feel we shouldnt need.. He has been great but i cant help feel we would be better with a back 4 who defend and a midfield 4/5 with width and creativity instead of relying on fullbacks attacking

I'm a huge fan of Marvin and think he has been fantastic since he first came in but that's actually what worries me. IMO it really shouldn't be a defensive player getting MOTM most weeks in this league.

He was quality yet again. MOM tonight for me. His booking was jumping to the defence of his teammate who had just received a shocking challenge too.

Best player on the park by a mile tonight. McGinn and Henderson should have been flying when they know they've got such a quality holding midfielder behind them, but they never really seemed at the races.

I was his biggest critic til about a month ago but he's been brilliant the last few games. Thought at one point he was Matty Jack covered in boot polish he was that effective.

Superb and he'll be a huge miss on Sunday :agree: for me a big positive on an overall poor night.

I think he was great against Hearts but do we really need a Matty Jack type player for the majority of games in this league?
We are missing Fyvie in the middle of the park. We need to be driving forward and putting teams on the back foot. They seem to be able to soak up the pressure and hit us on the break easily. We are predictable. Have the other teams suddenly sussed out how to play against us as we don't appear to be able to change our style.
