I wonder what peoples thoughts are on the zombies return to Leith?

I really think we should only give them 950 tickets again. As it stands the Zombies look set to win the championship and I would appreciate it if we didn't allow them the opportunity to treat Easter Road as party central.

Leeann Dempster please shut the gates on the unwashed.

Don't turn away easy money.

If the title was at stake i'd say yes give them just a few hundred. A full away end could only help them get a result ( though it didnt help the jambos).
Titles not at stake so we might as well use them for extra cash.

I get what you say but lets not do a deal with the devil. I wouldn't give them a drip of my sweat if they were dying from thirst.

Neither would I. They can win the league at easter rd with 900 fans in the ground mind. Thousands more might still travel through without tickets.

Funny?

Aye, funny right enough.

Absolutely hilarious.

The very thought of the Huns winning a title at ER is disgusting and you think it would be funny?

Maybe you're the yam fud.

Tell you what mate, don't call me that name again.

OK.

Still saying though, don't call me a YF again.

Between myself and my father we have decades of supporting the Hibs.

Just don't.

A number of years ago a win for Huns RIP at Easter Road or a defeat for Motherwell would have given them the title. We won 1-0 and their fans were already leaving the ground dejected despite the news that Motherwell had lost.

Them do what they do best and that's "walking away"

God no. Awful beer. Much like the general tone of this joint. If we've chucked it, so will the team have. Falkirk were 8 points behind us at one point, did they chuck it?

It happened a few years ago when they won the league at ER.

This time though I think circumstances are different and we should restrict them to 950 tickets or less.

What is more important - looking after your own fans or taking the money from a bunch of zombies.

What is the fixture run in and if they keep winning when would the league be decided ?

The other thing to think about is Hibs may give tickets out before its decided for sevco to sell or it could be won before then since the fixture is so late now in season.

Agree with you this way we can prevent the unwashed sneaking into the Hibs ends.

Exactly lets not give them the chance to sit in our away end and sing songs. lets pull the plug on their plans.

It always is names on the database for category A games.

I would love it if we could fill 3 sides of ER plus at least half the south and therefor restrict tickets to away fans. Until that happens however I'll take away fans money by giving them the south.

The league will already be won by the time we play them and the game is midweek on the tv. None of these things help to ensure a big home support, so there's no point in restricting their allocation. If anyone doesn't want to listen to them, don't go.

GreenCastle

We play them 3rd last game of the season - 19th April.

So highly possible they will be coming to ER as champions.

I would rather give the 9500 tickets than 950, it's not as if we are going to fill them.

If it was going to come down to this game, I'd give them about 400 (Roughly the same percentage as they give us). But the league is over. Giving them 950 would lose us about £60,000. That's money that will be put towards the team next year. I think I'd prefer the extra wonga

Nobody to blame but the team the last few matches...we handed it to them on a plate...no point turning away good money. if we fail in play offs its money we will need tbh

This is already one of the knock on effects of the last couple of weeks.

This game should have been a sell out and one of the biggest games played here in some time. Instead its probably a game a lot of supporters will be looking to avoid.

Sorry to say it but the League will be officially over by the time they come to ER. They won't care if they win or lose, they'll just want to rub our noses in it and drink their weight in Buckfast.
If they're still involved in the cup they may be focused on that, alternatively they'll have the sun loungers out and be fantasizing about renewing their sectarian hatefest with ra Sellik in August.

We however will need to be building some momentum as we head towards the play offs and two probable games in the semi final with (probably) Falkirk.
