I've tried to buy 2 tickets in the North stand. I cannot get two together!

Cannot even buy any in the South??

Surely not all sold out?

I think Hibs will get (up to) half of the West Stand along with half the South and the whole of the North and East Stands.

They are selling blocks West B7 and B8

At the Killie Cup final we only got to C1 - can't remember about the Livi Cup final.

East F4 was the best for 7 of us.. Don't really care as long as we win

Now selling B5 and 6 as well, but still no F5-8 or any of G.

Thinking about it, I guess if you are panning a camera from the South stand, B5-F4 covers most of your view.

Got this message from them

Hi everyone,

Thanks for sending in your application for tickets for the Scottish League Cup Final through your Hibs TV membership.

We have collated the requests and the Ticket Office will put tickets aside, so everyone who has requested tickets will be able to get them.

There is extremely limited availability in the South Stand so some ticket requests may not be in the requested stand, but we’ll do our best to allocate people to their requests.

The Ticket Office are working through some immediate pressures with regards to ticket sales so they’ll be in touch next week to arrange payment for tickets. Don’t worry, nobody will miss out as a result.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to get in touch.

Thanks,

Colin

I presume this means to just hold on until they get back in touch?

I couldn't get two tickets together in either the North or South stand. Are they keeping sections back for the general sale?

[QUOTE=JeMeSouviens;4598643]Now selling B5 and 6 as well, but still no F5

If we have as far round as B5 I would guess we are looking at a final Hibs allocation of at least 35,000 ...... it will be a great effort if we can sell that many. It looks like we could be up to about 20,000 sold already so things are looking good :greengrin

Highly unlikely.
There will be the upper tier of the South Stand to come.

That will be part of the second or third allocations to Hibs assuming the other areas sell.

Those who have the nerve to wait will get the best seats (probably?).

Yes, but they are debenture seats that may not be released of the take up is decent. Therefore we aren't holding them back as such.

They have done it before sell some of the binocular view areas first

It's sold out already. I'm in L3 with 5 others. The last two had to buy singles as there were no more seats together in the entire south stand.

I'd be very surprised if there's much of a take up for the debenture seats, I've never had a problem getting seats there for any game in the past when it's been open.

I suspect as mentioned above this will be the last tickets Hibs will get/sell so if your happy to wait they'll imho probably come up. That's if we sell around 30,000 first - otherwise I suspect it won't be opened.

Don't take this as a moan at Hibs but I think the release of tickets has been more than a bit strange.

Instead of releasing one section at a time, why didn't they just release the whole North, East and west section of the South Stand in one go, as they were always going to sell out and Fans could have more easily bought tickets together in groups.

This was mentioned on the first day of sales. No idea if it's a restriction by hibs or the sfa but it needs to be looked at for future matches.

Our initial allocation of 25800 will have been for particular sections. I expect those are the ones that have been on sale.

How many people have ever seen stadiums where the seats start at Aa or Z or BBB??

Not quite the same but did the old East not start at row G?

Old Trafford used to work from Z at the front and then the 'earlier' letters were further back in the lower tier. They changed it to row numbers a few years ago though.

Think Man City starts with the double letters at the front and single letters further back.

Rare, but not unheard of (it helps that I've built computer maps for every away end in the Premier League and Championship in the past with work)

I think A-F were removed when we removed the slope so it became the first row but retained the same letters.

To be honest, you don't want to be much closer at hampden. The shallow slope of the stand means the view can be pretty poor anywhere in front of row z.

Yeah good point. I've sat in every stand in hampden and honestly can't say I have enjoyed my view in any of the stands. Terrible stadium IMO.

:agree: It's a terracing gradient which means that the view you used to get standing at the front is the same as you get sitting in row E or somewhere.

Higher up the better. I'm just hoping safe standing is introduced as the east and west at Hampden would be the business.
