Yes, Arsenal are having to keep their wits about them of course, but have made the best chance, which Oxlade-Chamberlain should have scored.

Good refereeing so far in Arselona match. Unlike every ref in Scotland he isn't blowing his whistle every 14 seconds.

The gamesmanship of the Barcelona players is a disgrace, and has been for years. The way their players scream and feign injury each time they are tackled is totally wrong.

Barca ran the legs off Arsenal towards the end then went for the kill. They just have too much, though I must say Alba, Alves and Busquets are three of the worst cheats I've ever seen, and were just the same tonight.

Fair enough Alba had a shocker tonight but the two in bold aren't bad? Particularly Busquets who seems to have caught the diving tag because of one incident against Inter very long ago and people just seem to blurt it out whenever he goes down being fouled.

You didn't see both Alves and Busquets screaming each time an attempted tackle was made on them? Towards the end, the TV audio clearly picked up Alves screaming for an injury once again, following a very tame tackle by Ozil, and shouting "f*** you" at him repeatedly. He's a total fud.

The good news is that oxlade-chamberlain has finally stopped rolling. Bad news is he'll have to make his own way back to London from Southend where he finally came to rest.

No surprising considering the team they've got out tonight. Between tonight and the first leg I can't remember a less impressive Man Utd starting eleven in a European game.

Blind

Herrera

To be fair the fact is intentionally standing like that in front of the away support is different from celebrating with your own fans. The situation in the game and likelihood of bother get taken into account too so not every action is going to be treated the same.

Even if you put Martial in that team, it would still be a poor Man Utd team (on paper).

It's a Police Scotland instruction. Told the Sfa to get their house in order, or they will take action for any incidents. It's gone past the ridiculous stage in my opinion

I'm no one of these anti-Man Utd types. I couldn't care less how they do. I just think it's amazing how far that team is from Man Utd teams of recent history.

Would quite like the young lad to go on and get his hat-trick now. :agree:

Yep it's a shadow of the side they used to put out around five or six years ago.

They do have a number of injuries though which hasn't helped.

Along with Martial, they're also missing de Gea, Jones, Rooney, Smalling, Shaw and Schweinsteiger.

Still not a great Manchester Utd side by any means but those players would undoubtedly improve them.

Had to give the penalty to the main penalty taker (from the players available anyway). It was 4-3 on aggregate to Manchester Utd so if the penalty had been missed and then they had conceded at the last minute then Midtjylland would have gone through on away goals.

Mata was still on the pitch, he missed/keeper saved a penalty in the first half. ( I'm assuming Mata is the main taker)

It was 'only' the Danish champions, but a good performance against a much weakened United side I thought. Memphis Depay looked much more like the player signed from PSV and was sensational.

Still embarrassing for a club like Man United to be playing in the Europa League. I hope it's true that Van Gaal will be replaced by Mourinho in the summer.
