That's true. The new Rangers fans won't like it though. Might have a punt on Harkins to score at Ibrox now.

Not sure of the context or anything else but fair play to him for acknowledging what most supporters outside of the zombies know. It seems to be more common for players to ignore what they have doneand accept them back in a similar manner to a puppy that has chewed the couch.

Aye, but watch his tune change if they were actually interested in signing him. £££££

I suspect Gary might be "Sellick minded" and doesn't live in Govan or Larkhall or one of those other similar dumps.

There's a thread on this on rangers.media. It's the one called "hope this guy suffers a leg break". Horrible fans.

Strange that it's even a story that someone told the truth in public. It's like everyone that follows or is involved with Scottish Football is meant to have had a bout of collective amnesia.

Your comment is a bit OTT since he has only said something that is factually correct,is it really right to postulate that it has any other agenda.

Anyhoo, great pass by the guy last week for the Dundee winner.

In fairness, a friend of mine (Rangers man, good guy I promise) goes way back with Harkins and he is a Celtic fan.

Absolutely. The fact he may or may not be a Celtic fan doesn't make what he said any less true.

OTT in what way? I don't dispute that what he said was factually correct.

I always thought Harkins was an excellent player.

If we couldn't get Henderson in permanently he'd slot in nicely at the tip of the diamond.

I don't think his comment is OTT in any way. Yes, he makes a factually correct statement, but it's clear that he is winding up the muppets. He maybe didn't have to refer to certain areas in the west, but his concern for the guy's welfare is justified.

Sounds like he may be in trouble with his manager.
