Good result and performance, liked the shape without the wingbacks, gave us more of an attacking threat. I thought Carmichael and Boyle looked really sharp and took their goals well. Surprised Henderson was given the full 90, thought he would've rested him after 60 mins, all in all a good solid professional game, some decent goals and good game time for some fringe players.

3-5-2 is probably the most orthodox formation that it was closest to but I thought it was 3-2-3-2.

We had the back 3 with Bartley and McGeoch in front of that. Then you had Carmichael and Boyle out wide with Henderson in the middle playing off Keatings and Dagnall up front.

It was very fluid though so it was very hard to tell at times.

When they were kicking off the second half that looked like the way we'd lined up.

Good 3 points and excellent performances from a number of Hibs players, esp Bartley, McGeough, Henderson, Boyle. Nice to see players like Carmichael get a start as we'll need to dig deep into the squad in the next 8-10 weeks to compete on all fronts.

Today was great chance for Dagnall and Keatings to get a goal or two but both are really struggling with confidence right now and neither showed enough to displace JC/AS, which is bit of a worry.

Just back from the gAme , and it wasn't for the lack of trying that neither of them got on the scoresheet But thought today was the perfect chance for them both to get a goal but it didn't come off for either of them .
So will be interested to see if they both start against Morton .

However good to. See Boyle and Carmichael get good run outs and get on the scoresheet

He needs to keep his chin up and the thing he should take away from the game today is that he played a quite sublime ball in for Carmichael to make it 2 nil, an important goal as it made it a bit more comfortable at that point.

Thought Keatings assist was top class, absolutely great pass.

But thought his play in general was pretty poor and the ball bounced off him a bit. Between him and Dagnall I don't think Cummings and Stokes will be fearing for their places.

Boyle was very good from the right. Much more effective than when he's played up front. He took his chance today.
