Thinking about doing a 'Periscope' at a future match that's not being televised. Just one question. If I attached a Go-Gear to my hat (Photo below) do you think Security would have a problem with it.

Cheers.

I think if you tried to get in with the item in that link, then yes the security would probably have a problem with it.

Overseas viewers like me would appreciate it much more if you could sort out a steady cam :-)

There was a bit on that late stv news programme last night about using periscope at games. One of the guys on it was saying that it's not possible to copyright a football game, you can copyright the rights to broadcast, but not the game itself. As a result, fans are free to take pictures, videos etc. and there's nothing clubs can do about it. As long as there's nothing on your ticket stating that you can't do these things (which I guess clubs might start doing in the future) then you shouldn't have any problems. Whether you can convince a security guy of that though might be a different matter!

Tickets for French games have rows of wee pictogram things to show things that aren't allowed - photos and filming being among them, along with explosives and handguns. Lucky I checked really.

You're probably right. I'm over thinking things.
