Wonder when we'll be arguing for the scrapping of this tournament, given that there's no incentive and fixture congestion for the big teams all teams involved (honest)?

I haven't seen any of the game as I don't have BT Sport but I can imagine what it must be like.

They are utter keech at the moment and it's frightening how much they've declined in the last three years.

I wouldn't normally have BT Sports but Virginmedia phoned me this morning and offered to upgrade my M+ package to the XL package, which includes all the BT Sports channels, for an extra £2 a month. I thought why not.

About eighteen months ago I phoned Virginmedia up and told them that I was leaving them as BT had offered me much the same service for about £15 a month less. I hadn't but thought give it a go and see what they say. They couldn't offer me the same price quick enough to keep me as a customer. You should try it. Heard of other folk who have been offered freebies in order that they stay with their provider.

Go for it. :aok:

BT Sport isn't available as part of any Sky package, in the way that it is with Virgin's XL package.

You need to contact BT and order it separately and to have it in HD, it's £19.99 a month extra for 3 months, then it goes up to £23.99 a month and there's also a £15 activation fee if you take out a 12 months contract with them and a £30 activation fee if you only want to sign up for a rolling 30 days contract.

Shocking price. I remember paying about £15 a month for it when I was with Sky. To be truthful I hardly watched it. Can't get excited unless it's Hibs.

I would hardly watch it either to be honest.

There's some Premiership matches on there that I would probably watch and I would probably watch some Champions League matches as well but I can't say I miss watching them so much that I'm desperate to sign up to it.

I am at the point of telling Virgin to stick it, broadband & phone just gone up again now ridiculous pricing, while they are offering new customers great deals for not a lot of money. Sorry know it's nothing to do with OP.
