Just thought Daz deserved a thread of his own . Working in retail until 5 years ago to starring last night against that lot is a fairy tale. He put his stamp on their forward in first 30 seconds and then bullied them all game. He was brilliant all game and great to see a local boy fulfilling his dream at 30 years old. Big game player. Well done son

Thought McGregor was brilliant, probably had his best game for Hibs. Together with big Marv he was influential in that win.

My man of the match too:thumbsup: what a treat to watch a hibs centre half bully their strikers from the 1st minute, and also cool as ice when in possession,a real mans performance from big darren:thumbsup:

I mentioned on another thread that he recovered from 2 cruciate injuries earlier in his career. Perhaps makes him grateful that he still has a good career but also shows great strength of character to do that.

His composure in the box towards the end when he calmly took the ball away from danger was absolutely top drawer!

My man of the match as well.

When he was skinning players in the box at the end though - heart in mouth stuff.

One of the most solid center backs we've had for many a season.

Man of the match the other night and Stubbs' best signing as far as I'm concerned.

Some Sauzee type moments late in the game.

Loves a header for a guy that isn't that big.

I reckon Fontaine has been one of the best centre halfs that we've had in recent years so for him to be kept out currently is saying something.

Think I read on another thread that SOL at the end of the game was his greatest moment in football.

Hopefully lots more to come.

He loves the Hibs. Brilliant signing and it's even sweeter that Sevco gave us him for free, without even knowing :greengrin

I was surprised he wasn't given MoM on Tuesday...outstanding game. My MoM by a mile.

:agree:

Bartley was good but McGregor was immense.

That can't have been an easy game to play in but he made it look pretty easy.
