No surprise. I reckon it would have sold out within two days anyway if there wasn't the problem with child tickets.

Irrespective of result it will be the type of occasion that will live long in the memories - particularly so for the young team that have no experience of a packed Easter Road under the lights.

I can't say I really agree with that. Not that it'll happen, but a humping in front of 20,000 will be remembered for all the wrong reasons by all that are there.

I think however that this team, unlike all the others before since practically Collins, will be gee'ed up and be inspired by a large home support at ER and give us both the performance and result required.

Going to be busy and some atmosphere!

Hopefully the announcer makes a big issue of it being the biggest crowd in Edinburgh for years and that Hibs have now had the biggest crowd at bothER and at *********** against St J !!

Shut that choob Scott Wilson up

If we had been in the Premier League this tie would have meant playing Hearts 6 times this season.

As it is this is our only home tie against them and it's a complete sellout.......go figure.:cb

Why does it always rain on Them
Is it because they lied to ref at 13.10? :greengrin

I guess the argument goes that playing 6 games at maybe 15,000 brings in more money than two sell outs.

I think the manner of our comeback in the Tynecastle match has contributed massively to the sell out. There would have been far fewer at ER tomorrow if we hadn't equalised late on.

100% believe playing each team once a year at home in the league would see crowds increase :agree: and possibly more ST's being sold to guarantee a ticket.

For a four year old going to their 1st game yes. There will be lots of drunks shouting and swearing.

It's going to be a superb night, atmosphere wise. The players will have their tails up when they see this and I'm sure will raise their game to an even higher level.

Terracing.

Ahh. I see now.

To be honest it was the only stand we could get give tickets together. Although in saying that I do remember twenty years ago the average age of casuals were between four and nine.

My original comment was more to do with the fact the atmosphere is unlike anything I'll expect them to have experienced so far in their young lives.

Wouldn't say terrifying but if Hibs score, people have a habit of landing three rows in front of where they started.

Or knock someone's glasses off. :greengrin. Happened to me when we beat Rangers 4-0 at ER. First goal went in, the guy next to me went mental, knock my glasses off my face and they landed two rows in front of me. Miraculously when I retrieved them there was no damage.

Were sitting in the front of the terracing so hopefully be alright. Funny when you were younger you never bothered about stuff like that, can't remember how old I was going to Derbys with my mates. Maybe eight? Then when you have kids the cotton wool comes out!
