Havent read whole thread so apologies if duplication. I believe official attendance at PBS yesterday was just over 16k!

But still not as high as the Hibs-St Johnstone attendance two weeks ago, right?

Nice to see the hearts fan sticking up for you kickback.
My personal opinion is that you love to wind up people,in a minor trolling way,
Like Blackpool hibs, annoying, but if it makes you feel better, then charge on.

Did Scott Wilson get paid half arse scipt be used next game again and again again Twat

I've heard that he doesn't even attend the home games. It's just an old cassette recording on an antique Phillips tape recorder that the cleaning woman (aye I don't believe they even have one of them either) comes in and turns on just before kick off. It's the 120 minute tape that they used to record the 400,000 Hearts fans celebrating in the stadium when the team returned from Dundee in 1986 with the league flag. Some twat accidentally wrote over it. What are they like?

So there you have it.

Yesterday it was like a bog when my oldman walked the dog around the gyle.

You're surely not asking anyone to give any credibility to your argument in defence of HMFC (also bearing in mind that club's recent record) if you are comparing public playing pitches at the Gyle with Tynecastle (s***hole that the PBS is) which employs full time professional groundsman and staff? Are you?

I personally cannot prove that they deliberately went out to get their match called off, but I suspect that they didn't do very much to get it on when they saw that chance.

You, on the other hand, seem to be only too keen to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Could easily be rain and snow in Leith thus rendering our ground unplayable, and postponed to a date when we both get the same rest before the game.

Now, wouldn't that be sweet?

Whether they were at it or not (they do have a history of cheating), this just goes to prove their fleapit Stadium/Pitch is unfit for purpose (maybe doing fleas a dis-service)

No way. I want it done and dusted on Tuesday. Keep thinking just one more day to go but obviously two. Trying tomorrow to get my sister a ticket. She's only been to two Hibs games. The 2-1 win against the The Rangers at ER in November and the 2-1 win at Tynie against St Johnstone. One hundred percent record. :aok:

I would rather we stuck it right up them on Tuesday, so they can have many more Saturday's off to rest........

"Not a lot". I disagree. Their game being off yesterday could make the difference between winning or losing the cup replay.

Surely it gives them an advantage, especially considering Hibs recent run of fixtures?

I'll not be debating this anymore with you on the thread, so if it has to carry on you can drop me a PM :aok:

Hermit does seem to savour any chance to disagree.

The Livvy vs Hibs weather thread, he disagrees the Hibs game should be in doubt as weathers fine in west Edinburgh at midday.

2 hours later on this thread he says the weathers been awful for 2-3 hours. Justification for the Hearts game getting called off at 1pm? Curious.

This thread is one of the reasons I have just viewed on here for a few years and not posted much.

I do not know this Hermit Crab fellow but, he has almost 12,000 posts, seems to be a true and genuine Hibby like all of us but, because he has the audacity to voice an opinion that is somewhat controversial (in some people's opinions) he is getting absolutely slated.

The abuse he has taken is well beyond the pale and is, quite frankly, disgusting.

I take it that everyone who has got involved in this witch hunt knows, and, it has to be, dislikes him, has personally met Mr H. Crab?

I doubt this very much. :flag:

Wet pitch or not, we will beat the Hearts on Tuesday. I, for one, hope that Hermit Crab comes back on here that night and is apologised to for this ridiculous attack.

You are sounding more yamish by the minute tbh, digging and digging a massive hole for yourself, I would let it go if I were you. I don't think these are daft accusations and I don't think anyone here needs to prove anything. The point is the Yams have form for these kinds of things and I don't think we should hesitate for a second when accusing them. If they think this gives them an advantage (which it clearly does), you are telling me they wouldn't do everything in their power to make this happen. Cheating goes with the territory down Gorgie way so people are rightfully suspicious of the game being called off when almost every other game went ahead.

He's defo a hibs fan I've no doubt about it. But he does like to defend Hearts at most opportunity's though. As someone said he commented on the weather one then contradicted himself when the Hearts thread came up.

Someone on Kickback claims to know him well and says he posts on Kickback as well. I've no issue with that but to me it seems he doesn't want punted from there so is happy to defend them when he can!

Either way it's up to him what he does, if he wants to defend Hearts bash on I know what I think of the cheats and that will never change!

Here's my Daily Record column on the matter:

Once again Rangers are dealt a slap in the face by Scotland's football authorities. Hearts, the Scottish Cup opponents of Hibs, their main promotion rivals, were allowed to call off their League game against Patrick Thistle. This increases their chances of defeating Hibs in the cup, thus ensuring that the Easter Road club focus fully on the League, while Rangers face more distracting, punishing battles on two fronts.

Rangers never complain. Rangers never walk away. They simply jut out a defiant Sounessesque jaw and stand with the rigid dignity of Bill Struth, a man who once shat his keks in the trenches yet never allowed -Hannibal Lecter style- his pulse to deviate from the median level of any combat troop in the field.

Yet if one could look at Bill Struth now, up in heaven, one might just see a silver tear bulge glassily in an eyeball and roll down a frozen cheek in frustration and humiliation at the treatment Rangers are currently receiving at the hands of the Scottish footballing authorities.

Then Rangers might complain. Then Rangers might walk away. Then where we we all be? And it would be all our own fault, for tarnishing the legacy of Bill Struth. And Rangers.

Think about that football. Think about that Scotland.

I'm very much in the 'Too right they cheated again' camp. Only match to be called off in both the top Scottish and English leagues on Saturday. They saw their chance and took it. The fact that the replay will probably be during a midweek will have no financial concerns for them as most of the seats at Tynie have already been paid for.
