With this match looking like a a potential sell out .. does anyone know the highest recent attendance figures for Easter Road?

Have we ever exceeded 20k?

The Athens game was the best midweek game I can remember at Easter Road, but the actual attendance was less than 17k.

Sadly, the highest I could find was the Ramsdens Cup Final.

Sure the win over Hearts under Butcher was over 18k? Liam Craig penalty game?

20,106 was the Derby we won 2-1 under butcher. Sure that was biggest attendance in Edinburgh for a derby in around 20 years

So the new year derby a few years ago wasn't a sell out😄

as far as I could see there wasn't an empty seat in the stadium that night so don't know where the extra 300 seats were.

Anything short of capacity, we can put the 'sold out' signs up, just like the inbred underclass liars do at the pink Victorian cesspit.:fibber:

Hospitality should be overflowing for this match and reckon a new modern record will be set. A last minute Murrayfield switch would have generated more money, although a full ER will be a fitting sight for this team and manager. The next phase of Sir Tom's masterplan will be filling in the corners in time for a proper 1970's style European campaign!
