Also didn't realise he was coming up for 300 appearances, that's some achievement
Gunner said he can play anywhere along the back line so I guess we'll be seeing how he does on the left rather than forcing Hanlon out there.
Funny actually, really can't imagine Hanlon playing left back these days, would seem ridiculous not having him down the middle.

The ref that booked him last week obviously hadnt worked out who we were due to play when he was suspended. :greengrin

Thought Sunday was one his poorest games in a long long time, yet he still nearly scored a cracker with his RIGHT foot
A few years ago I would have been happy to see Lewis find a new club, but now, he's pencilled in to that team sheet every single week. I have turned in to a fan of his, if he could just improve on his crossing at times.
Hopefully won't miss him against Alloa, a good game to be suspended for, but it will be good to have him back from suspension.

Who's the development team Left Back? Maybe see Stubbs try that out rather than play a right footer there.

Calum Crane. I've been impressed by him every time i've seen him play, he's out on loan atm though.

No disrespect to Alloa but if he was going to be suspended for any game that is the one I'd have picked.

Might not do Lewis any harm being out for a week. He must be knackered as he hasn't missed a game in god knows how long and games are coming around awful quickly.

Think we'll go 3 at the back against Alloa. Gives some good options to go either 3-5-2 or 3-4-3

Yeah, this also gives Stubbs a good chance to play Boyle which would be nice.
Feels like he's not played for a while now
