View Full Version : Impact of replay towards Livingston game this Saturday.

This Saturday evening`s game had the potential to see a bumper Hibs crowd pack out Livingston as we return to important League business, but the Cup replay against Hearts a few days later could potentially hit the numbers making the short trip along the road.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the replay and £28 will be needed for that, but I`ve yet to buy my Livingston ticket, and another £20 will be required for that.
This football supporting is an expensive pastime alright, but when you experience celebrations like Hanlon`s injury time equaliser yesterday, it sometimes is worth every penny! Now just need to try and explain that to Mrs Carheenlea..

The OP has a point. It's been an expensive few weeks for Hibs fans. Away games at Raith and Falkirk, as well as the semi against saints. Add in away games at Tynie again and Morton, before Livingston and Dumbarton away, and the Scottish cup replay against the Gunts
Also buying tickets for the final before the month is out. Can understand why people have to pick and choose

I was a definite for Livi but £56 for me and the kids in the replay plus another £70 or so for the final in tickets and buses has me thinking. This is a good example of the effect of TV. If it wasn't on the telly I would be going as it is I'm swithering.

It is at the moment, but they usually have a patg option, but you won't get loyalty points

As an aside, what time does the car park close at the designer outlet village. The games unlikely to finish much before 7pm

Opportunity missed to link Livingston and Hearts to a guaranteed ticket for the cup final?

Midnight I think. The smaller multi storey on almondvale boulevard (between McDonald's and asda) is definitely a midnight close.

That's why we have the loyalty points scheme. Why should someone that has never been to a game but turns out for these 2 be entitled to a ticket over someone that has more loyalty points.
There will be more than enough cup final tickets to go round everyone that wants 1.
And I highly doubt they need to incentivise the derby to sell tickets.

No it's not. As far as I am concerned the most important game in Britain on Saturday is Livi v Hibs.

Unfortunately where I am as well, a game I was looking forward to but paying for buses / tickets for my "squad" making it a no goer for me, telly or not.

So many good Hibs games coming up and the LA Galaxy pre-season games are just starting too. Tomorrow night is a friendly against Club Tijuana which I must confess to wishing was an away game for a wee cross border trip and the chance to see their lovely cheerleaders.

I'm sure Livingston will be just as appealing on Saturday.
The only difference being that girls will all have staffies.

I would rather be at the Hibs game, even if the dugs were the cheerleaders. :flag:

Park wee bit further up from multi storey, at the outlet with Argos/Pets at Home/Maplins [only about 80yds from entrance to multi-storey]. Free parking and open 24 hours.

It's a maximum stay car park. Don't think the fines are legit but wouldn't want the hastily for anyone getting an unexpected "fine" through the door.
Terrace car park across from multi story is open and free at weekends.

Use the ones at the designer outlet outside or even asda as that is free after 6. The outdoor carparks at designer outlet and at Debenhams are free use to the time of night

Small industrial estate up in Livingston village, literally a 5 minute walk down to the stadium via the underpass and over the bridge across the river.
Free and easy to escape from at full time!
