As I will be in Sydney at the time of the League Cup Final I am looking for any info on Pubs / Clubs likely to show it.
Any ideas?:flag::flag:

The Sydney Hibs guys are trying to sort a venue. Possibly the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel.

One of the guys will post on here if/when it's confirmed.

LL, you'll not be the only one as I'm going to be there with a mate who's a Dons fan.

You'll know me as I scream and leap up and down a lot when we score. And I'm 61. http://www.hibs.net/images/smilies/thumbs%20up.gif

Cheers bar on George street is always a good shout. It's on George and Liverpool, across from World Square. Used to live round the corner from there and showed most games. Pretty much my second home for a year!

It's not been confirmed for TV yet. The PBH are open to streaming Hibs TV on their smart TV using a login.

Scruffy Murphy's was more of a Hibs pub, think they showed the last couple finals in there to a big crowd. So yeah, a new venue would probably be good!

Sydney CBD has changed significantly in the last 18 months with the nanny state laws enforced by the Christian Fundamentalist State Premier and Senior Police officer .
Scruffys and Cheers will be unable serve alcohol during the time of the game as they are in the so called curfew zone. The Pyrmont Bridge hotel is not in the zone ( conveniently next to the Star City Casino owned by major government financial donators - The Packers - see where I'm going here  )

Confirmation of venue will be posted here . Expecting a big turn out

Crown owns 25% of Echo who own Star City as far as I'm aware .
Big James has more of an interest in being open all hours round there than he does at Scruffys

obviously not Sydney but if anyone's looking in that's going to be in Melbourne for it we've sorted it out with the Charles Dickens Tavern on Collins Street in the CBD to stream it for us!

sure there'll be a great turn out for both places!

Hibees here, Hibees there... :flag:

Update -

We have exclusive use of the Harbourview room -1st floor. from 11pm
Hibs colours welcome -indeed compulsory.
Some Advice.
Do not come intoxicated. Door policy is very strict and you will not be admitted if clearly under the influence.
If you want to have a few come early to the pub. A heavy Sunday afternoon session is probably not advised.
Also no open shoes e.g. Sandals . Security will refuse entry.
Event is on FB for those not on it please confirm your attendance so I can give the pub a rough number .
See you there
