Just checked a couple of the ties that went to replays in the last round. Unfortunately the ref was the same in the first match and the replay....

wouldn't mind thomson again just as long as he performed like he did today, don't think he done too bad

Thought he reffed the game pretty well. Although Augustyn should've be sent off for man handling McGinn during that big rammy.

Surely Scotland's finest will have already been reserved by uefa for a champions league match that night?

We dodged a bullet today with Thompson's performance. The man is bent and no good will come from him refereeing a Hibs v Yams match.

How do you know CT is on Europa League duty?

I wonder who gets final say if an official is involved in a cup replay but is also listed as an official in a European match? SFA or UEFA? Would assume UEFA

Seems like the Yams agree with you. He's getting pellets from them.

22 fouls 5 yellows
9 fouls 4 yellows

Yup. He refereed well alright.

He didn't ruin the game as most of us expected. He had opportunities to give them the softest of pens, he could've spotted something to disallow Hanlon's goal and there definitely could've been reds in the game.

I'd even go as far to say he done well not to allow the game to completely boil over which it easily could have.

That said, he's still **** and/or biased.

I don't think these statistics mean anything. Our fouls COULD have been a lot worse than their's and warranted them. The bit he got wrong was at the stramash and we had 2 booked. They should not have happened. I too actually thought he had one of his least contentious games against us and was a hell of a lot better than McLean was last week.

Unless he is on European duty, he will ref the replay.

Aye, like McGee's tackle on McGinn, OTT and could have broke McGinn's ankle

Yup, like that and also like Big Marv's on Djoum and McGregor's on whoever it was. And there probably could've been one for Stokes as well as Agustyn in the melee.

If CT had of given a red to McGee then guaranteed a Hibs player would've got one shortly after.

As surprised as I was with him yesterday, I'd still prefer someone else.

Wonder if the compliance officer will get involved?
