snooky

The BBC website is reporting that Apple iphones are being disabled if they've been tampered with or repaired by a third party i.e. not Apple. Apparently this is as a result of the latest upgrade.
Despite Apple's claim of 'innocence' the cynical side of me thinks that this is a sneaky attempt to force their customers to get repairs done by Apple and Apple alone.
I don't have an iphone and reports of this ilk do not exactly inspire me to get one.
