A great night. I went for a pre match drink in the Cabbage and Ribs and had just ordered a pint when the Sky Sports presenter announced on the telly that the match was approaching a sellout. Downed my pint as quick as I could as I was paying at the gate. I could have had another couple of drinks. A sell out. :rolleyes:

All four goals were brilliant and what a team we had back then.

Fletcher and Benji looking superb there...on his day Benji was almost unstoppable...great watch!

I had a great view of Stewart's volley from the West Upper towards that end. Cracker! A lot of superb players in that side.

Remember when he scored at Easter Road against the Hearts and ran almost the full length of the pitch ready to give the ****bag supporters the :giruy2:. Thankfully he was stopped by one of our players thereby avoiding a yellow card. Think we won 2-1.

I'm sure it was our goalie at the time (Brown?) who came out and stopped him or he would of kept running into the away stand!

That Aberdeen game must have been Thomson's last game for Hibs before he went to Rangers.

What a team we had then, you couldn't wait for the next game, breathtaking football, great to see players like Sproule, Boozy, Murphy, Benji, Zemamma and all the others again, great vids! :top marks
